How to repair a MS Access database file

If you use store your data in the MS Access database file \product_folder\data\*.mdb, and you experience unexplained program crash, you should do a hard disk scan and then repair the database file. That is because power failure or hard disk problem may have damaged it. You can take the following steps.

Stop the server program
Go to Control Panel, double-click on Administrative Tools, then double-click on 32-bit ODBC Administrator.
Select the data source for the MS Access database file you want to repair, and then click the Configure button.
