Windows NT Service and MS SQL Server NT Integrated Authentication
If you store your data in MS SQL Server, the MS SQL Server is configured to use Windows NT integrated authentication mode only, and you set up Help Desk Server to run as a Windows NT Service, you need to configure the "Log On" Windows user account for Help Desk Server NT Service. This is because a NT Service runs under the Local System account by default. The Local System account cannot log on to MS SQL Server. It results in "Anonymous Login Failure" error.

To resolve the problem, you need to configure Help Desk Server NT Service to run under a Windows user account. To do that, go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. Right click on Help Desk Server NT Service "helpDeskServer2" and select the Properties command. On the Log On page, select “This Account” and select the Windows user account you used to install Help Desk Server.
